You know... at some point, I hope that the Human Species... or at least the American variety will one day get past surface level thinking...
In my future eutopia, people will realize that "[poster child of the day] is EVIL" is incorrect... it's individual people with certain weaknesses that get trapped by certain "vices"...
Why, I can see it all now... in middle schools, children will be exposed to all forms of activities to experience for themselves things like, um... drinking, drugs, driving reallyreallyreally fast, voting democratic, fisting, just everything... and then, the weak ones will get wrapped up in something stupid and then be sterilized. No more weakness in the gene pool... well, except for a certain random % which don't get sterilized so that the gene pool doesn't get too "pure" and the remaining humans get wiped out by some change in the environemnt...
why... I get all misty eyed just thinking about it.
