Based on a suggestion from this response to a linux-is-not-ready-for-the-desktop rant, this window should be added as either an installation or user configuration option in all operating systems. 

It occurs to me, also, that once the user selects the second option, the words "by clicking on the button" should immediately vanish from the dialog box itself, just to be consistent.
